Google has released its own browser [ September 3rd, 2008 ] Posted in » Google, News, Services and Tools

Just in case you are one of those people who only read this blog (hah), I would like to inform you that Google has released its own browser. And based on my initial testing, it is something that you have to go and get. There are bunch of new features that are available with the browser, and you can read all about them at the Google Chrome page.

One of the best online games website

imageI am big fan of computer games. Ever since the days of the Atari, I have been hooked. At various times I have owned a variety of consoles, and I have always put together gaming PCs for myself. As good as those games are, you need to have some time on your hand to play those games. And these days when I find myself super busy at work, I don’t see too many opportunities where I can start a new game on my XBox 360. It is these times when quick online flash games come to your rescue. And one of the best resources online is called Kongregate.

Finding free photos on the Internet

There are many photography sites on the Internet which you can go to when you are looking for images that you need to use for your website, brochure, blog, or anywhere else. However, most of the sites are paid or have some kind of copyright assigned to the photographs. Mindjet goes online

I had made a comparison of two very popular online mind-mapping tools some time ago: Mindomo and Mindmeister. Well, now they have competition looming. Popular desktop mind-mapping tool, Mindjet, has now launched an online presence. While it is not a free tool, I was able to try it out for free because they offer a free trial period. Here are my initial thoughts on the product after a quick review.

A good place to go for WordPress Themes

Did you notice that I have a new theme? Probably not, but I was not finding my earlier CopyBlogger theme to my satisfaction. So, I changed it. Now, where did I get a new theme from? Well, there are loads of places available on the net if you do a simple search. However, the one that I keep going back to is called BlogOhBlog. Jai (who runs the site) is brilliant. I have used 2 other themes from him on my other blogs. The best thing is that he keeps producing these free themes which according to me at least are every bit as good as his premium themes.

If you are looking for a WordPress theme, then this place is super highly recommended. He will even do custom themes for you.

There is always something interesting happening on the Internet

Of all the blogs I read from time to time, the One Man’s Blog is one of them. This is a blog by John who happens to be the Chief Marketing Officer of Layered Technologies (which actually is the sponsor for Woopra).

Anyway, back to the story. Till recently, John’s blog had a very unique URL: http://onemansblog.com/. That is till recently. A couple of months ago, another blog was launched by another man called (you guessed it): Another Man’s Blog. The Author of this blog has one purpose only: to provide One Man a life of living hell. :)
