The beautiful thing about the Internet is that of all the millions who get on it, some are bound to see your site. And a few of those who come to your site will subscribe to the idea you are selling.

Twitter is a phenomena; a phenomena which not a lot of people understand. I am only beginning to get hooked on to it. However, lately more and more tools, utilities, and services keep cropping up around Twitter. So what has that got to do with Live Messenger status? Meet Twessenger.
This is not a product review site, but I can’t help but talk about this software package that I stumbled on to today. Someone came up with the bright idea of writing a software which converts your wifi enabled smart phone into a wifi hotspot. This allows your laptop or other wifi devices such as a PSP to access the Internet through your phone’s data connection.
While a lot of PDAs do allow Internet Connection Sharing from laptops, it usually requires a proprietary software to be installed and requires the phone to be connected to the laptop either through Bluetooth or USB.
Requirements include Windows Mobile 5 and up, Wifi enabled PDA, Data Plan, 15 MB space, and Internet Sharing enabled. Before I forget, the software is called WMWifiRouter. Now, if only someone came up with an open source version of this.
I posted about Twingly, the new blog search engine that everyone is talking about. And I did mention that there have been promises about tools based on the information collected by this blog engine. Well, one such tool is the Twingly Screensaver. This neat tool, allows you to monitor blogging activity in real time. What’s cool about that you ask? I have a lot of occasions where I am not sure whether an error that I am getting on a website is because the site is down or is it because there is a problem with my Internet connectivity to that site.
