Ever imagine what all those pretty Disney princesses would look like if they were evil? What if Belle was as scary looking as the Beast? And what if Ariel was had deep sea monsters for pals? Well, someone imagined it, and he went along to paint his imagination. Here are some awesome illustrations from Jeffrey Thomas, a very talented artist to say the least:

These are just too good. Try spending at least a minute staring at each one and you will appreciate the detail that has gone in to each one. Do visit Jeff’s blog to see more of his work. And if you would like to get larger resolutions of these images, then just visit Jeff’s Portfolio on Deviant Art.

Of course, if evil princesses are not your thing and you would rather see the prettier side of these animated beauties, then check out Jessica Rabbit in real life by Pixeloo.

Since I regularly come across awesome talent with Photoshop across the Internet, and sometime I post it on this blog as well, I am going to start a new category called Photoshop starting from this post.

Today’s find is work done by Sebastien Gaucher. He took a picture of a brand new house and added his magic to convert it into something that looks straight out of a horror movie. Take a look at the before and after snaps before. And if you want to find out how he did this, go over to his step-by-step tutorial here. Of course, this is not his only work, to see other such tutorials and other great stuff head over to his home page. Finally, the pictures:

Before

After

I told you it was mind blowing. Here’s a link to the high resolution version of the images. You have to see it to appreciate the details in the after version.
