Online Observations

There are many times when you need to transfer some information between two or more computers: sharing a list of to-dos with your buddies or teammates; posting an assignment online for your students; maybe even creating a make-shift bulletin board. Here’s an online utility that makes doing these things a breeze. It’s called cl1p.net.

Follow these 2 simple steps:

1. Visit http://cl1p.net/<XYZ_Url>. Here XYZ_Url is anything unique that is relevant to what you are trying to create. For my example, I am going to use: http://cl1p.net/how-to-use-cl1p.
2. When you visit the Url, you will see a simple text box with some options. You can add whatever you want to save in this text box, and click the “Save” button at the bottom.

From now on, anyone who visits the Url will see what you have saved. There are of course many more options that you can set such as changing the duration for how long this Url will be reserved; uploading a file; or even create a permanent Url.
