Economic downturn taking its toll on you, try making an iPhone game

ishoot All those people who have a software development skill set should not despair if you are not being able to make ends meet, or are afraid that their jobs may be in the the limbo.

Instead, look for other venues to make money. Try doing freelance work on the Internet, have a blog and make it popular, or try the latest trend: make an iPhone application. The Internet is awash with stories of people who are generating full time incomes from the Apple AppStore. At the same time, there are thousands of application which come and get shot down even before you notice they are there.

However, here’s one story which has got to give you some inspiration to try this. Ethan Nicholas wrote a game called iShoot for the iPhone outside his regular job in a little over six weeks.

Since the launch of the game, he has made over $700,000 on it. Yes, that is right. That is over 5 years worth of pay for most people. That makes you think, that this iPhone thing is certainly worth a shot.
