The Twingly Screensaver

I posted about Twingly, the new blog search engine that everyone is talking about. And I did mention that there have been promises about tools based on the information collected by this blog engine. Well, one such tool is the Twingly Screensaver. This neat tool, allows you to monitor blogging activity in real time. What’s cool about that you ask? Just check out the screenshot (click to see larger version):

You see a real time map of new posts as they come up on the blogosphere. The posts roll by, and you can click on any one of them to see a synopsis of the post (the green box on the right).

Highly recommended to download and install. It requires the .Net framework to run (if you don’t already have it installed).

Now, this would become really useful, if I could filter the posts as per my interests. Then, I can really monitor the blogosphere in real time as per my needs.
